2001 – AOL merged with Time Warner to become AOL Time Warner
2006 – AOL was bought by the Carphone Warehouse Group and changed its name to AOL Broadband

In April 2008, the Carphone Warehouse separated into two operational divisions – TalkTalk Group and Carphone Warehouse Retail.

Business-to-business (Opal) and
Infrastructure (Technology)

AOL Broadband in Waterford manages the customer support function for AOL customers based in the UK and offers four types of customer support; namely sales, general customer service enquiries, technical support and customer retention.
AOL Broadband was rated as one of the Top 50 companies to work for in Ireland by the highly respected Great Places To Work Institute, was Awarded Contact Centre of the Year at the CCMA Awards and received an Award for Excellence in Services at the Waterford Chamber and VHI Healthcare Business Excellence Awards.
