WhiteMarch 1, 2007 – AOL’s employees in Waterford welcomed the visit of Charles Dunstone, CEO of The Carphone Warehouse Group, at a company meeting on Thursday. Carphone Warehouse recently purchased AOL’s UK broadband business and this was Charles’s first visit to Waterford operations.

 

Meeting with employees, Charles outlined the important strategic role the Waterford site plays in the business and its increasing role as a centre of excellence for the rest of the company.

 

“I’m very impressed with the people and high quality of work being done in Waterford”, he said. “It will be a great asset to the Carphone Warehouse group and I look forward to working with my Waterford colleagues as we take our business forward.”
